A Quick Introduction

A custom calendar system for your scheduling and calendrical needs. Event Manager can display events in list or calendar form. Event information can be downloaded in iCalendar format, for integration with Outlook and other calendar products. Users can also download a yearly calendar in PDF format.

Creating Events

Events are easily created by navigating to the day in question, and clicking "Add/edit events". If there is already an event on that date, a list of events will appear where they can be edited or deleted, otherwise an "Add Event" form will be displayed. Each event can be set to recur daily, weekly, monthly, or annually; as well as entering a specified date when recurrences stop being displayed on the calendar.

News Manager Events

Events can be tied to news articles. An event that is entered via News Manager will have many fields already filled. These events appear on the calendar as normal, and when clicked they link to a news article popup.

To add a news event, click the "Edit Events" button next to a news article on your site's News Manager admin index page.

Event Manager CSS

CSS rules for Event Manager are defined in globalresources/css/managers.css, starting with .eventMgr_Cal. If you want to change styles of event calendar, please override defined rules in your website's CSS file.
