LunpaCMS Whipping your website into shape! Introducing Lunpa, our mascot. Her mother was a hamster and her father was Chilean M00se. Oddly, neither smelt of elderberries.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is an easy way to measure site traffic over time. To use Google Analytics, you need an Analytics account. To set up the account, see Google's step-by-step instructions.

Setup

Once you have created an Analytics account and have an ID of the form UA-XXXXXXX-X, add it to the map LOCAL_GOOGLE_ANALYTICS_ID (or create the map if it does not exist) along with the site name provided to google.

For Example: If you gave the site name example.com to google and they gave you ID in the form above (UA-XXXXXXX-X) add 'UA-XXXXXXX-X,example.com' to the map.

Once the map is set up, the code will be generated automatically. Sites with LOCAL_SKIP_PRINT_HTML_HEAD_AND_BODY set to 1 will need the snippet explicitly added with the :::GOOGLE_ANALYTICS_SNIPPET::: to the main templates for each section of the website to be tracked (main templates, newsmanager main templates, etc.). Ideally this tag will go directly before the closing head tag.
